The Literacy Labyrinth is a substantial revision that provides a broad framework of knowledge about literacy and literacy pedagogy from both a historical and futures perspective. It gives students a repertoire of old and new knowledge and practices that they can draw from. These have been redesigned to suit the changing literacies and needs of students entering increasingly complex futures.

The text explores the past and present from a sociocultural and multiliteracies perspective requiring students to interact and reflect on the material presented.
